AirCard is an open-source, third-party tool that puts the art you downloaded on a card that’s already in your Wallet.

Either works — we suggest the Mac app
AirCard for Mac needs no sideloading, so it’s the easier start. Prefer to skip the computer? AirCard-iOS works too (on iOS 18–26 it needs a pairing file from SideStore or a similar tool).

All of these tools need at least iOS 18 — earlier versions aren’t supported. On iOS 18 and later, both the computer versions (Mac, Windows) and the on-device AirCard-iOS work: on iOS 18–26, AirCard-iOS needs a pairing file from SideStore, LiveContainer or a similar tool, and from iOS 27 you can also pair on the phone itself.
Yes. With a PC on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), use AirCard for Windows. Without a computer, AirCard-iOS works right on the phone: pair on the phone on iOS 27 and later, or import a pairing file from SideStore, LiveContainer or a similar tool on iOS 18–26 (installing those sideloading tools the first time may need a computer).
AirCard only replaces the images Wallet displays on your device. The card itself is untouched, so payments and transit work as usual.
Force-close Wallet from the App Switcher and reopen it; if needed, restart the iPhone. If no cards are detected, keep the phone unlocked, reconnect and scan again.
The number in the bottom-left corner (•••• 1234) isn’t part of the image. Wallet adds it from your card’s details, in a color set by your bank, and it doesn’t change with new art. Usually it’s still there but blends into the art. Open the card and zoom into the bottom-left corner. If it’s hard to see, pick art with more contrast there: dark behind a white number, light behind a black one. Transit cards, Apple Cash and some other cards don’t show a number at all.
No. Every card on CardArt is normalized to a 1536×969 PNG that works directly with AirCard.
Updates or a Wallet cache refresh can revert it — just flash again. Before updating iOS, check that AirCard supports the new version.
AirCard is a third-party open-source tool that modifies local files on your iPhone. Apple doesn’t support it and iOS updates may break it. Back up your iPhone first.
