Both tools need at least iOS 18 — earlier versions aren’t supported. On iOS 18–26, use AirCard for Mac; on iOS 27 and later, either tool works.
If your iPhone is on iOS 27 or later, use AirCard-iOS right on the phone (sideloading and pairing are needed the first time). Below iOS 27, you’ll need a Mac on macOS 14 or later.
AirCard only replaces the images Wallet displays on your device. The card itself is untouched, so payments and transit work as usual.
Force-close Wallet from the App Switcher and reopen it; if needed, restart the iPhone. If no cards are detected, keep the phone unlocked, reconnect and scan again.
No. Every card on CardArt is normalized to a 1536×969 PNG that works directly with AirCard.
Updates or a Wallet cache refresh can revert it — just flash again. Before updating iOS, check that AirCard supports the new version.
AirCard is a third-party open-source tool that modifies local files on your iPhone. Apple doesn’t support it and iOS updates may break it. Back up your iPhone first.
