Steps

  1. Step 1: Design at card proportions

    Use a 1536×969 px canvas — the ISO bank-card ratio and the exact size AirCard writes to Wallet.

  2. Step 2: Don’t bake in rounded corners

    Keep it full-bleed with square corners — Wallet rounds them for you. Keep important content about 60 px away from the corners.

  3. Step 3: Leave room for system info

    Wallet overlays the balance on the top-right of transit cards, so keep that area clean with moderate contrast.

  4. Step 4: No real personal data

    Never include a real card number, expiry date, CVV, name or a scannable QR code. Review blocks anything that looks like real card data.

    ImportantCard art is shown publicly and anyone can download it — design it as a public image.

  5. Step 5: Tips for AI generation

    Ask for a 16:10 landscape image and say “full-bleed, no text, no card numbers, no rounded corners”. If the size is off, crop it to 1536×969 when you upload.

  6. Step 6: Export

    Export an sRGB PNG. Metadata such as EXIF is stripped on upload to protect your privacy.

  7. Done

    Follow the steps above and you’re all set.
